Dr. Jassy Molitor's SIE young investigator award

SIE Young Investigator Award

The Statistics in Epidemiology (SIE) section has chosen Dr. Jassy Molitor for the SIE Young Investigator award on the basis of her outstanding paper "Using Bayesian graphical models to model biases in observational studies and to combine multiple data sources: Application to low birth-weight and water disinfection by-products". The paper was selected among 18 submitted papers. This award has a monetary value of $750 and it was presented at the Joint Statistical Meeting, that took place between 2-3 August in Denver, Colorado (USA).

This paper is co-authored by Prof. Nicky Best and Prof. Sylvia Richardson (Imperial College London) and Dr. Chris Jackson (MRC, Cambridge).
